Hey y’all! So today finally feels like Fall. Besides like only two other days, every day has literally been 80 degrees and up for the past few months.

I love chunky sweaters. They are so cozy, but still make a statement for fall fashion. I wore one last night with jeans to date night and posted a photo on my instagram.

The problem is when it doesn’t get really cool and it’s the middle of November, how do you style them instead of letting them just sit in your closet or on the back of your desk chair? A sweater, jeans and OTK boots is super cute especially with a fun beanie to top it off, but that’s also for much cooler weather than we normally experience. Since I was struggling to wear my sweaters in a practical way for the weather, I decided to share with each of you because I figured you may have the same problem. I personally love to throw a sweater over a fun little shift dress. You’ve seen this before on my “How to Transition Your Summer Dresses Into Fall” post. Seriously though, This is a great way to mix up your styling and still be able to wear your sweaters when it isn’t 60 degrees. I even got a little preppy with it by tossing the sweater over my shoulders for one shot. This cable knit sweater is from Express and even though it’s almost $80, there is a buy 1 get 1 for under $20 special going on right now. I obviously loved the bright pink to add some color to my Fall neutrals, but this sweater also comes in black, blush, mustard, ivory, and deep teal. I’m wearing the XS for size reference. If you are an Express fan, they are currently running $25 off a $100 purchase and 50% off all women’s jeans and I personally have always loved to have a few pair of their jeans in my closet. They are such a great price point and I normally get to purchase a size down, so that’s a win win for me!

The casual black dress that I’m wearing is the perfect basic black tee dress with a fun lace up waistline detail. I purchased this dress from Nordstrom and the brand is Topshop, which I have been so impressed with their brand lately.. Sale alert to share with y’all, Nordstrom is running a 40% off Fall Sale thru this Sunday, so now is totally the time to make a purchase with them online! I’m wearing a small in this dress and will be able to wear this during all seasons, and y’all know versatility is a big denominator for me. I finished the look off with my current favorite pink velvet booties that I bought for only $20. They are currently sold out, but I am linking so many other pink bootie options below at all price points. I could totally justify this purchase because of the price and I’ve already worn them 3 times! Plus, it’s my signature color.

If you love my style or my boutique Southern Jewlz and you’re local to the BCS area, plan to come shop in person with me this Friday November 10 at the New Beauty Market located at 340 George Bush Drive in College Station. I will be set up with a pop up shop from 12-7 with lots of new fall arrivals and even more new maroon that will be perfect to purchase right before our last Aggie home game this weekend.

I took these photos at Downtown Navasota with Tim and Glen from GT Studios. I also did my own hair and makeup.

In case you missed it yesterday, I announced the hair makeover giveaway winners at the bottom of the original blog post. My hair dresser Erica and I were totally taken back by the number and quality of entries that we actually named 8 different winners! I just would like to thank each of you again for supporting my blogging journey and staying engaged with me. I hope I am giving you good tips and tricks as well as some fun giveaways to enjoy!

xo,
