Hey y’all! I am excited to share today’s post because it’s all about my blonde hair. Let me tell you, this has been a work in progress to get my hair as long and healthy as it is right now. You see I have really fine hair and I started adding the tape in extensions to my hair years ago. I loved the way they looked and I almost became addicted, however I noticed my natural hair was not growing. So soon after Grant and I started dating about 3 years ago, I gave my tape in extensions up for good. This took a little getting used to not having long lucious blonde locks every day, but it saved me a lot of money and made me focus on getting my real hair healthy and long again.
Now I do still clip in some extensions or wear a halo for special events or even for some of my photos, but on the regular day to day life I am wearing my all natural hair. I feel since my hair has gotten a chance to grow and breathe naturally, it is in the best shape of its life. I also contribute a healthy diet and exercise program to my hair being in better shape than in years past.
Of course no hair can be fabulous by itself without a hairdresser and line of products to match. I have been going to Catwalk Hair Studio here in Bryan, Texas ever since they opened almost 9 years ago! The owner, Tiffany Henley, is one of my dearest friends and has been a loyal Southern Jewlz customer and supporter for years. Y’all know I am a honest blogger here sharing the brands and businesses that I use and love! Erica is the blonde specialist at Catwalk and I go see her every 7-10 weeks to get my hair done. Luckily, I am naturally blonde so I don’t have to go every 6 weeks like some people when it comes to maintaining blonde highlights. Erica is always focused on the longevity and health of my hair rather than just making it pretty and blonde for when I leave the salon. She currently has me using a purple shampoo that they carry along with many other Aquage brand products. The silkening repair treatment or as they like to call it “magic” is my all time favorite. I let Erica be pretty much in control when it comes to my hair. If she tells me I need a glaze whenever we are rinsing, then I get a glaze. If she wants to send me home with a certain product to add in to my regular regiment, then I purchase it and begin using it. Erica herself has long and beautiful bright blonde hair, as do many of her clients. I know she wouldn’t steer me wrong, so I let her as the professional have the reins when it comes to my hair care. I currently have a brighter ashier blonde for Fall and I love it so much! My natural hair is almost as long as my extensions, however I will still toss them in for extra fullness and body in my pictures. I may have to get a new set of longer extensions very soon though since my natural hair has gotten so long!
I am so excited to have teamed up with Erica from Catwalk Hair Studio to offer y’all an exciting giveaway. You could win a $175 value of a color, glaze, cut and style with Erica! Here are the guidelines to enter:
1. Must be following @randacarrabba and @erica_cwhairstudio on instagram.
2. You must like our giveaway photo and tag a friend in the caption.
3. The last step requires a little more work. Erica is such a sweetheart and would love to see someone very deserving win this giveaway. So we are asking that you tell us why you feel either you or a friend that you nominate should win this giveaway in a blog comment below. Feel free to have multiple people comment to help us learn more about why you feel a specific entrant should win.
The giveaway winner will be announced next Tuesday November 7 at lunchtime. Erica will be reviewing all the entries that Tuesday morning, so you have until then to get entered. Once the winner is announced, they will have a 3 month expiration date to go in to Catwalk Hair Studio to redeem their prize.
This photo was taken last weekend the day after I got my hair done by Erica. She got my blonde color just perfect for Fall! Haircare is an investment in my mind and it all starts with a great hairdresser. I’m excited to get to name a future winner to hopefully be a long term client just like myself for Erica!
It has come time to name the winner! Before I do that, I wanted to tell each of you a little more about Erica from Catwalk and why this giveaway came about. Erica is from near San Antonio but has been at Catwalk ever since they opened back in 2009 (it was actually my birthday on their first day of business!) Her house was hit last year by the bad tornado in town and she had to completely renovate her home and live in a hotel for weeks. She said being home during that tornado was one of the scariest times of her life. Erica recently got married and she was a beautiful blonde princess bride. However, not too long before the wedding she lost her uncle and her husband lost his brother. Erica also was the sweetest dog mom to Bray who became very sick and had to recently be put down. I know that was one of the hardest things she has ever been through because Bray was her best friend. I also recently found out that Erica’s husband grew up only a block away from the Sutherland Church where the shooting just took place. They had friends who were affected horribly by this tragedy. Erica wanted to host a special giveaway with my blog to help people to know that they are not alone through the hard times. She wanted me to tell all of you that everything always gets better even amongst the bad days, weeks or even years. She wanted to bless someone and make them feel beautiful during a very deserving time of their life! What an angel?
Thank you all for following along and a special thanks to all those who entered. We loved reading all of the sweet comments and I truly feel like I have the most incredible blog follower community around! Because of the tremendous response and Erica’s kind heart, she decided to name MULTIPLE WINNERS!

Thank you so much for entering and how exciting for your upcoming blog!!! Congrats girl! Thanks for following along on mine and best of luck in this giveaway!
Hello! I would love to win this for my mom, Tressy. She is such an inspiration, she recently lost over 100lbs and looks amazing, but being a woman you always pick out the worst. She doesn’t see just how beautiful she is and I think she should feel beautiful all around. She lives in Port Aransas and just lost so much in Hurricane Harvey and this would just be so amazing for her. Like I said she is an inspiration to all and I hope she sees that sooner than later! Thank you!
You are the absolute sweetest for entering her! She is lucky to have a daughter like you. I hate how much the Hurricane has affected so many people. Thank you for following my blog and entering this giveaway. Good luck!
Iām a full time working mom and we know that means no time for myself, canāt seem to get my hair healthy and the blonde i like and would love to be pampered by Erica!!
You deserve it!!! Thank you for entering yourself and best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
My hair is what makes me feel most confident. It is my favorite part of myself and I value it dearly, especially since seeing people in my family who had cancer lose their hair. I have a special appreciation for mine because of this. I would love the chance to visit Erica and let her work her magic on my natural red hair! I would love a vamp up and just something a little different.
Amen girl!!! Thanks for entering and for following along my blogging journey. Best of luck as the giveaway winner will be announced shortly!
I would love to win this giveaway because I am desperately in need of a good hairstylist here in college station! Mine is 3 hours away. My friend who I nominated would love to win this giveaway because she has a wedding coming up! She needs to look perfect for her big day!
Hey girly! I love that you nominated your friend. How exciting that she is getting married!? Thanks for following along and for entering!
Hi, I would love to win this opportunity because just like Randa, I have trouble getting my hair to grow. Iām 18 years old and when I was 14, I felt that my hair wouldnāt grow past a certain length so my hairdresser told me that if I cut it, itād grow back quicker and would grow back longer.. That was so wrong!! After a year and a half of my hair not growing at all, I started doing clip in extensions and would put them in and take them out every single day. I was so self conscious of my hair that I wouldnāt go without my clip ins. Now, Iāve been doing tape ins for over a year and my hair has started to grow a little more. I have blonde hair too and get my hair done about every 2 months. I would love the opportunity to get my hair back in good shape and do away with tape in extensions!!
It’s so hard to get it to grow out and to keep it healthy and be patient! Thank you so much for entering and for following along!!!
This giveaway is so much fun! I would love to win a hair makeover by Erica! I am a local first grade teacher at a low income school and I find it really hard to spend money on myself because of things I need in my classroom. I feel as though each dime I put into my kiddos supplies, manipulatives, fun projects and even rewards is and investment in not only their future but my own. I teach my kiddos that THEY are our future leaders:) So that is why I invest in THEM!!! I would love to surprise my husband by getting a total hair makeover. Especially since our 3 year wedding anniversary is coming up on Nov 8th:) I have loved reading all of your inspiring blogs over the past few months Randa (and seeing Bucky in your snap stories)
You can delete this one! I was trying to post and it said error so I think I accidentally posted twice!
Thank you so much for entering and for following my blog. Bucky says thank you too haha. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
Feel weird nominating myself. Thatās not my style what so ever! But Iām a new mom! Just had my first baby 6 weeks ago and my hair is in desperate need of some tlc and love. Ready for a fun change to help make me feel like myself again. Mommyhood has been one of the most challenging things Iāve ever done. Itās soooo rewarding but itās nice to take time and feel like yourself again. Plus with medical bills and daycare on the horizon finances are a little off at the moment. So Iād sincerely appreciate this on so many levels that words canāt describe. Thank u for doing such an awesome giveaway that I know will help someone out tremendously. You guys are awesome!
I’m proud of you for nominating yourself! You deserve it. Thank you for following along on my blog and for entering. The winner will be named shortly!
Iāve recently started taking notice to my hair and how unhealthy it is. Iāve started using every product out there to nourish and lengthen my hair but nothing is working. Iām just your average full time working college girl so Iām sure there are others more deserving but I would really love someone with so much talent to Lead me in the right direction and get my hair healthy the right and effective way! I would also love a hairdresser to just have fun with me color wise. I just want a color that really suits my skin tone, crazy unruly hair, kinky texture, and hair that no other hair dressers has seemed to figure out. (Which is really discouraging) Iāve been really working on my confidence and I know beautiful hair will just be another thing to get me right on track! By the way, this is such a cool give away!!!
Thank you so much for entering and for following along on my blogging journey. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
This is such a fun giveaway! I would love to win a hair makeover by Erica! I am a local first grade teacher at a low income school and I find it hard to spend money on myself because of the needs of my kiddos. Whether it be supplies for a project, fun class rewards, new tennis shoes or fun class decor. The amount of money I spend doesnāt only benefit them but it also benefits all of us! Todayās kiddos are tomorrowās leaders. That is why I see each dime I put into them as an investment rather than a burden. I can buy a lot of new socks and boxes of crayons with the $175 it would cost to style my hair:) (And thatās why I have 7 months worth of roots showing currently). Also, Nov 8th is my husband and Iās 3rd wedding anniversary! So a hair makeover would be a fun surprise! Love your blogs (and yours snap stories of Bucky)!
Thanks girl, we thought it was super fun too! Erica truly is the best. I love how sweet you are to your students. They are sooooo lucky to have a teacher like you. What a sweet and kind soul – I feel honored to have you as a blog follower. Happy early anniversary and best of luck as the winner will be named shortly. Bucky says thank you, too!!!
I would like to win this giveaway because I recently moved and took on a new job where I took a significant pay cut and getting my hair done has been one thing I really miss since I canāt afford it like I used to. My hair is very fine and thin, so I try to always get it taken care of by someone who knows what they are doing. I am also trying to get it to look it best for my wedding next year so I trust almost no one with my hair.
Thank you so much for entering and following along on my blog. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
Randa’s hair is always so gorgeous. If Erica is who does it I am curious to give it a whirl! I’m taking engagement photos next month and think this opportunity would be perfect to show off fabulous hair that will be frozen in time forever like my fiancĆ©’s and my love!! <3333
Thank you!! Not always, but with the help of Erica she keeps me in great shape. Thanks for following along and for entering. And Congrats on your upcoming marriage!!!
I love all of Randas post! I love seeing her motivation for fitness and kindness. I feel like I should win this giveaway because I am getting married!!! I am so excited and have been working out, focusing on making my skin and hair healthy too! I think it would be so fun to be able to do this before my wedding!! Thanks for doing all these giveaways. I look forward to more post and reading about all your fitness goals!!
Thank you so much for following along!!! And congrats girlfriend on that upcoming marriage. Proud of you for entering yourself – best of luck!!! xo
I am a student at A&M and I’m currently looking for a hairdresser! My hair has been through a lot, I lost the whole top layer of my already extremely thin hair in 7th grade due to stress, and when I was in 10th grade I wanted ombrĆ©, which turned out fine but when I went to get it touched up she colored almost my whole head and looked like I had horrible roots. Then I went somewhere else to get it fixed and they had to completely bleach my hair. I finally got it stabilized and normal now. And now as this is my first semester of my freshman year, I have lost the bottom layer of my hair so i would be extremely grateful to get it styled!!
I lost the bottom layer to stress **
Thank you so much for entering girly! Thankful to have you along on my blogging journey. Good luck as the winner gets named!
I feel I deserve a hair make over because I got married in June of 2016 and we are newlyweds on a super tight budget! My husband is earning his degree from TAMU aim Areospace Engineering and graduates in December! Because it’s such a crazy hard and time consuming major, he hasn’t been able to work so I have had to work multiple jobs to make sure all bills are paid and on the budget, getting my hair cut and colored is very low on the priority list! It would be the biggest treat to get my hair done. I would love to look FABULOUS and made up at his graduation in a December!!
You do deserve it!!! I’m proud of you for nominating yourself and entering. Thank you so much for following along on my blogging journey. Good luck as the winner gets named!
I would love to win this amazing hair makeover. I am currently in nursing school and have recently been so overwhelmed with classes, clinicals and tests I had to quit my part time job for extra income. I am so excited to finish my nursing degree. I love everything about the medical field and love to be able to use what I learn now to help others in the future. Having little time and now no income makes it difficult to do extra things like get my hair done! I too wear extensions sometimes as I have fine hair. I would love to be able to have someone as good as you are describing take a look at my hair and make it look beautiful and full.
Thank you so much for entering and for following along on my blog! Good luck as we named the winner girlfriend!
I am a First Grade Teacher in Bryan. My husband and I moved to Bryan a year ago. My husband works at a church with 7-12th Graders and we absolutely love what we do. I have yet to find a go to girl for my hair and have little time or finances to spend on it. I pour everything I have (money included) into my classroom to make my learning environment safe and enjoyable for my kiddos who come from homes where they have very little.
I would love the chance to have my hair done professionally and finally find my “go-to” hair girl!
Thank you so much for entering!!! And welcome back to Bryan! Thanks for following along on my blog and best of luck as the winner gets named.
I have been also trying to get my hair back to healthy and long. Unfortunately I was not faithful to my stylist and my hair is DEAD. I would do anything in the world to get my hair back to what it was. When my hair is long and healthy I feel like I can conquer the world!! I would love to win this giveaway!
Girl you can conquer the world!!! Excited to see you enter this giveaway! Good luck ?
Randa I have followed you for some long, I am twenty three I have been chasing my dreams since seventeen. I moved to college station area in 2012 went to school here for three years then I moved to Midland and then back home to Lampasas after I was laid off a year ago from the oil industry. Well about a month ago I had a job opportunity back here in bcs area and I took another chance. Drove up here on Columbus Day for an interview and next day received the call that I got the job! So me and my two fur babies Gracie and Lyla we packed our house up and moved back to College station Oct 29th. This is a new fresh start for me and my girls to chase after our dreams. Picking up and moving was very scary Sunday the 29th I laid in bed and cried because the Devil was feeding me with such negative thoughts about making such a horrible decision the last year in half with lay off and financial struggles have been such a life changer for me. I just knew I had to take a leap of faith and so I did and now I am here in College station! I am a blonde I LOVE getting my hair done it makes me feel like all the worries in the world just disappear when you have a fresh look. I would love being able to have a fresh new look on this new adventure I have stepped into. Thank you Randa for inspiring woman everyday!
Thank you so much sweet girl for following me along for so long. Welcome back to CS! I’m proud of you for continuing to chase your dreams amongst the curves that have been thrown your way. You are beyond deserving and I wish you the best of luck as the winner gets named!
So I would love to win this giveaway because I never know what to do when it comes to my blonde hair. My real hair color is strawberry blonde and when I turned 17 I wanted it BLONDE! My mom wouldnāt pay for me to get my hair done so I just resorted to box hair color to get my hair super blonde! My first time it turned out great! I had long hair at the time and it looked amazing! After a year I noticed my hair becoming thin and really damaged. I also couldnāt get my roots to look the same color as my ends. By this time I was out of high school and had a job so I could afford to get my hair done professionally. I started going to this girl back at home. Then I moved to College Station and was on the look for hair dressers. Iāve been to 3 so far. The first one I didnāt like. The second fired my hair so bad that when my hair was wet, it was elastic. Almost like tiny rubber bands. The 3rd one Iāve been going to her for almost a year and I love her!
The reason why I tagged my roommate and best friend kate, is because we are both scared to go to someone we donāt know. Another reason is because our hair is a little bit of a financial problem right because we are in college and have to pay bills. Since you have blonde hair and Randa trusts you, I would love to win this! So PLEASE pick me!(:
Thanks,
Carley
Loved reading your comment!!! Thank you so much for entering girl and good luck!!! ?
I would love love love to win this because I’m getting married in April, and would love a new hair style for the wedding. As you know weddings are stressful, and expensive and I would love to treat myself.
Awe congratulations!!! It would be perfect timing for you for sure! Enjoy your special time and thank you so much for entering!
Hi guys!!
This is so exciting, I have personally failed to find my favorite blonde hairdresser in Bcs since I moved here three years ago. I usually drive 2 1/2 hours away and of course that is just time consuming and adds on so much more money with gas. I like to believe I am a great candidate but I know good and well there are way more deserving people who need it more than me. My friend Karli that I tagged in the post is the sweetest soul I have ever met and is currently babysitting through bcssitters in order to pay all of her bills herself and rarely has money to treat herself. She has recently been looking at box products because that is all she can afford right now and I would love for her to get this chance to get pampered. You girls are awesome for doing this!!
Aren’t you the sweetest friend! All of your stories are incredible!!!
I nominate myself. My HAIR needs help!!! After I had my second daughter who will be one on November 28th my hair has been falling out. I used all recommend products and I finally started to see a diffrence. It was getting healthier. However I really needed some color. So I went to Ulta… why I have no clue. I explained to the lady what I wanted and what I got was the complete opposite. It was HORRIBLE. The color was orange and patchy all over. It was completely fried when I washed it I could not even slide my fingers thru my hair. It started to fall out every time I would shower. I could fill up a baggy. I bought $100’s of dollars in hair product over the next 6 months. It’s no longer falling out but it’s very dry, damaged and ugly. I need help with my hair. I need to bring life back into my hair. I want to find someone that knows hair, that cares about hair that wants to help me get my hair to be beautiful!!! Being a full time working mom of two girls and a step son is hard. Having the opportunity to bring LIFE back to my hair would help me build my confidence. I need that.
My career is very personal and when I’m with clients I feel ugly bc my hair is helpless. Help me be more successful in my career by giving me the confidence to better hair.
I am so proud of you for nominating yourself girly. You deserve it! Thank you for following along and for entering. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
I agree with you Erica is wonderful. I have been going to her for 9 years also and just love her to death. It really feels good to have someone you can go to and them know exactly what you need to have done. I trust her and always feel comfortable letting her do my hair. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
She’s the best!!! Thanks for leaving her such a sweet comment and for following along on my blog!
I have been trying to get my hair more blonde and have been several times to get it lightened and every time itās just so expensive and Iām on a student budget. I need a haircut so bad as well, my hair feels like hay at the ends and it needs to go. Overall I really just need to freshen up my hair and make it healthy again. I always feel self conscious looking at my grown out hair and dead ends.
It’s so hard to get it super blonde and keep it healthy, but Erica masters it! Thank you so much for entering and for following my blog. Best of luck as the winner will be named soon!
A little over a year ago I had to start strong medications to battle my Chrohn’s Disease. With strong medications comes side effects that have effected my hair. I no longer love my hair has much and I just feel like it is thinner and not as pretty! I would love this opportunity to have my hair look it’s best and healthy! I am currently a college student and it would be so appreciated!!!
Oh no, I hate to hear how your medicines have affected your hair. I’m so thankful you entered yourself and that you follow along on my blog. Best of luck as the winner will be announced shortly!
I would love for my sister to win! She never treats herself (because she is a broke college kid) and I think a new look would be great for the holidays and a reason for her to treat herself! It would be so great for her and make me so happy!
How sweet are you for entering her!!! Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
I would usually never nominate myself for this but this is something that I feel like I can benefit from at this time in my life. I have always lived my life as a giving person I try to do everything I can to help others or just be there for them. I was raised by a young mom who has always been my strength. I had an older sister and my dad that raised me pass away when I was 13 and 16 years old. This hit our family hard but my mom, little brother and I persevered. Of course we have had times that we were crushed from this and the devil used this to try and make us turn from God but we have held onto him and our family has grown. Growing up I was the little big sister if that makes sense. I was never the one people looked at a second time. I had a beautiful mom and sister and I always felt like the ugly duckling but I always had full hair and soon realized that was one of the only things I liked about myself. Let’s fast forward to now, I got married in 2011 and that day I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt but was sitting at a weight over 200 pounds!! How did I get there? I have no idea but married life tricked on and pounds came but again I had great hair!! Lol! About a year ago I wanted a change I wanted to do something for me and started working out and had an opportunity to go to counseling. I can proudly say that I am currently in my healthiest shape I have been in since I was a child. I have a great relationship with my family and with the Lord and I am currently down 30+ pounds but most importantly I love myself and feel good about where I am. In taking care of myself as a whole I have neglected my hair and my blonde has become all dark roots with blonde ends and now those pesky greys are popping in. Now is the time to get my hair back to a healthy state and for me to feel overall priceless with a healthy self and hair!!
Sorry for my book and rambling and listening. I know there are thousands of people more deserving of this but I feel better just releasing it and putting it out there!
Cheers to a healthy self worth rocking fabulous hair!
I’m proud of you for nominating yourself. You deserve it. I’m so proud of your lifestyle change too, girl! Thank you for entering and for following along. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly.
Thank you so much to you and Erica!! Y’all are both amazing, selfless and giving! I will be spreading the word and y’all will have a supporter in me!
It’s been a rough couple of weeks for some personal reasons… I feel as though a little glitz and glamour is just what I need to lift my spirits..
Awe sweet Haley, you have been in my thoughts and my prayers. Thank you for entering yourself during this hard time and for following along my blog.
I would really love to win this giveaway because I haven’t had a pamper in a very long time! I am a full time student and I work over 40 hours a week as a local BCS waitress. My every day life is pretty far from glamorous, minus the chances I get to rock my SJ apparel š I would love to have a chance to get my hair done because I am completely financially independent and my money has a hard time spreading to myself rather than buying family and friends gifts, especially around these upcoming holiday filled months! Alongside quite a few financial obstacles I want to feel pretty, which is tough when I’m constantly working or doing school and I think a fresh color would be so nice and luxurious, I want to feel good about myself and I would hope this would help! Thanks and gig em!!!
Thank you for entering yourself girly – you definitely deserve it!!! Thankful to have you as a blog follower. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly.
What a dream this would be! As a full time working mother (of 3 young boys) I have no time at all to care for myself. And while I wouldnāt trade these days for anything, it would still be so nice to get to pamper myself! Thanks for this awesome opportunity! š
Good luck girly and thank YOU for entering!!!
I bet it is hard to get that girl time in! Thank you for entering yourself, for following along and best of luck in the giveaway!
I would love to win this giveaway!! I have long blonde hair, but it is in desperate need of some TLC! Being a broke college student, I have definitely put my hair on the back burner, so this would be amazing! My hair could definitely use a revival! Also, Randa’s hair always looks great so I would love to give you the rains when it comes to my hair! (:
Erica is the best to get it in the best shape ever. Thank you for entering and for following along girlfriend!!!
MOMMY MAKEOVER! Send help!
Thank you for entering!!!
Thank you for entering and following along!!!
Hello,
I would love to nominate my friend Lindsay Mancuso! She is a wife, and mother of 2. Her first son was born at 24 weeks. Today Jack is thriving! Between taking him to therapy 4x a week and keeping up with two kiddos under two she doesnāt have much time for herself much less she would not spend the money on herself. She deserves some pampering and could use some sprucing up! Please pick this sweet momma!
How sweet of a friend are you!? Thank you for entering Lindsay and for following along on my blog. Best of luck!
I was totally going to nominate myself just because Iām a full time student and I work full time as well so itās hard to have the time or money to spend on myself! But after reading all of these comments and seeing how so many other women are struggling (much more than i am), i no longer want to win! I think any of these women who have entered would be more than thankful for this, and they all most certainly deserve it more than I do. All of you are amazing women!! And good luck!
Wow! What a selfless comment! Thank you for following my blog! I feel honored and like I have THE BEST and sweetest followers! That’s easily proven with your response ???
What a sweet follower you are! Thanks for commenting and cheering them on. I feel so lucky to have you along for this blogging journey!
Ahhh!! This is so sweet of you, and I know it will really bless whoever wins š I’m a first year social work graduate student married to a sociology phd student, and from working to pay the bills, studying to not completely drown in school, and also try to start a photography side hustle, I just haven’t been able to invest time in my own self-care. To be able to go and get my hair done would be such a gift and a blessing, especially during the most stressful part of the semester!!
We can’t wait to bless someone! Thank you so much for entering! Best of luck!
Hey!! I’m ashley and I would love to be considered for this. I have always struggled with my hair and have never quite found a style that fits me. My hair naturally parts in the middle and I’ve been fighting it my whole life, but I have just begun to embrace it. I also have been a little bit insecure about the thin-ness of my hair, so I always feel I need to add a lot of body to it. Basically, I want to find my personal style that embraces my hair the way it is!! (But I’d love a good dye & style)
Hey Ashley, thank you for following along on my journey and entering this giveaway girl!
Hello beautiful! I would love to win this giveaway because Iāve been struggling to find a hairstylist. I have a hair lady where I currently live. But Iām looking to switch to someone different.ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Thank you so much for entering and for following along girlfriend!!!
I would love to win this giveaway!! I have natural auburn colored curly hair that I love, but lately it had become nothing but frizzy! I’ve had problems growing my hair for years and it has never been able to grow past my shoulders. I’ve always wanted long hair, and have tried $100s of dollars worth of products to help it grow. My boyfriend is a Specialist in the United States Army who is currently deployed in the Middle East for a year. We’re half way through the deployment, but I told him I would try and grow my hair out over the year while he is gone in hopes I could grow the long curly hair I’ve always wanted! But I’m 6 months in with no luck at all. I’d love to be able to surprise him at his homecoming with the long pretty hair he’s never been able to see me with and that I want! This separation has been hard and that surprise at the end of all this would mean so much to the both of us! I would be so so thankful to receive the treatments being offered in this giveaway! I don’t normally ever nominate myself for things, but I’d be so thankful for this opportunity! Thank you so much for what y’all are doing! ?
Thank you so much for entering!!! Would love to get you on track with Erica! Best of luck as we name the winner.
I would love to win this giveaway because I have ever only trusted one person with my hair, and I am looking to branch out! My ring day is in two weeks and graduation is very soon, so I would love for my hair to be totally new for the two biggest days of my life!
So glad you nominated yourself before these very important upcoming days! Thank you for following along on my blog and best of luck as the winner will be named soon!
Oh my I totally clicked the link for Cat walk hair studio; and I’ve seen that billboard FOREVER coming to bryan/college station. I don’t know which. (I’m from this area and still get confused) but the billboard on briarcrest!! You’d think being from little ol’ Bremond, I’d know where it was! Anyways, I’m in the military and I love my long hair but being in means that my hair is so tied down with gel and hair ties, that I’m pretty sure my hair is drrrryyyyy. I cut it on my own, and I’ve always had trust issues due to childhood haircuts. Let’s be real, parents never pick the correct haircut we love. I love keeping up with you Randa! You show that it’s possible to come from a small town to glow up! Win or no win I would still love to get in contact with Erica. Thanks loves!
Thank YOU for your service!!!! And for following along! Best of luck! Erica is the best for sure! ?
Lol your comment made me laugh girly. Thanks for entering and for following along on my blog. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
I would love to win it. I need it. Seems like everyday I have less time. Busy 35 year intensive care nurse, entrepreneur, mom, daughter, and greandma Mary. Please help me. I’m in desperate need
What incredible roles you fill!!! Thank you for entering and for following my blog! Best of luck lady – the winner will be named shortly!
Iļø would love to win this giveaway because Iļø am a college student and have been wanting to try something different, new, and fun with my hair. Iļø just donāt have the money to spend on my hair š
Iļø would love love love to win this giveaway!!
Thank you for entering and for following along on my blog! Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly.
I know I should nominate someone else for this but I’m going to be selfish for once and nominate myself ? I’m a stay at home Mom to three very busy beautiful kids. Although I adore being a Mom, I put 100% of myself into my kids and never do anything for myself. It’s been a solid 8 months, at least, since I’ve even had a hair cut and it wasn’t even a good one. Most days I’m running around in yoga pants, an over sized shirt and my hair thrown up in a messy bun. Not even a cute messy bun, it’s more of a “exhausted Mom who hasn’t brushed her hair in days and is that applesauce or spit up in my hair ” messy bun. I would absolutely LOVVVE to win this hair makeover (And my 10 year old would love it too because apparently I embarrass her ?) I could go on and on about how much I need this and how much it would mean to be Chosen but I won’t lol Please just consider this exhausted Mama!
Good for you for nominating yourself! You are beyond deserving and incredible mama!!! Good luck as the winner gets named.
I would LOVE to win this giveaway! I am as member of the fighten Texas Aggie class of 2016! That being said, I am also a working mom of a 18 month old baby boy. & with being a mom my hair gets put on the back burner pretty much 24/7. Something is always more important. But honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I would love to win this hair makeover & give my hair the much needed TLC is deserves!
Thank you so much for entering girly!!! You are incredible and I’m thankful you follow my blog. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
I know this isn’t going to win, but it is worth a chance. Pretty much only Erica knows my life story, since I was going to her for years before I wasn’t able to afford it anymore. Between my husbands cancer, me getting fired from my job when I was pregnant, and having a beautiful baby girl that is my entire world, we lost our way financially. Though we know we are better off then most, I do have that to be grateful for, it has been a rough adjustment. I have always found love in my hair and getting my hair done. Ever since I haven’t been able to go to barley anyone, I find the cheapest person in town to do my hair, and pray they do a good job. I get something that isn’t high upkeep. That way I can have somewhat of my confidence back. Erica is amazing to anyone that doesn’t know. I was a walking billboard for her when I was going to her every 3-6months. She is the best person you will ever meet. She has more heart then anyone could ever ask for. I would sit in her chair and talk for hours, and just laugh and crack up. I feel guilty for not going back to her as much š as I know she does the best in town. If I don’t win, that is perfectly fine. I just hope it goes to someone that can make themselves feel beautiful again. People don’t understand what hair can do for yourself. To whoever does win, just remember how beautiful you are with or without getting your hair done š This will just give you an extra pep in your step!
You never know if your entry will win until you try! Thank you for entering and for following along on this blog. Erica truly is incredible. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly.
Iļø would like to nominate my best friend Lisa Moore to win this prize. Lisa is the most thoughtful person and is always there for her friends. She gets married to her middle school sweetheart the Saturday after thanksgiving as well and this would be the perfect final touch to get her ready for the wedding. Lisa and Nathan have been dating nine years as of October. They met in Jacksonville Texas where they both are from and have been loving each other for a long time ā¤ļø. Nathan came to Texas A&M to get a degree and be in the corps of cadets and Lisa followed him here so she could be with her sweetheart. School wasnāt her forte though so she worked as a florist in college Station to make money to stay up here and be with nathan. These two are so in love and it would be the best present for my sweet friend if she could win this prize. Wedding planning hasnāt been ideal for her, but she always said āin the end all that matters is that Iļø get to marry my best friendā. If you could help this pretty girl look even more beautiful on her wedding day, it would be amazing!
How sweet of you! What a good friend you are. I love a beautiful love story like theirs!!! Thank you for following along on my blog and best of luck as the winner will be named shortly.
I would like to nominate my great friend Kelly Vega. She has been married to the live her life for over a decade. They have three wonderful children together, two precious daughters, and their youngest is their son Jake. Jake has Down syndrome, and is the most amazing kid ever! The reason heās so amazing is because his parents are so wonderful. They are very active in the Brazos Valley Down Syndrome Association. But the real reason she deserves this is because of her unwavering efforts to be amazing every day. She gives the best to her own children and family, the kids she loves at school (sheās an elementary school nurse), my kid, and all of her friends (of which she has many; why wouldnāt she?!?). Anyhow, in short, she is most deserving of this prize, for more reasons than I could possibly provide!
Wow, she is so lucky to have a friend like you! She sounds beyond deserving and I’m so thankful you entered her. Thank you for following along on my blog and best of luck as the winner will be named shortly.
There are many deserving stories already, but I will take my chances at this generous give away! I would LOVE to win this! Although I am an existing client of Erica’s, I have recently returned home to CS from an 8 month stay in Houston with my new baby girl. She’s had three heart surgeries in her short 11 months, and an amputation after complications during a code. We have been home for 3 months and she is doing well, but this give away we definitely help the budget.
We are so humbled by so many deserving stories including yours!!! Thank you for entering and best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
Randa!!! I am nominating myself (even though I feel thatās totally weird) because I feel like I deserve it! Sometimes life can just be hard! I am a newly wed- I married my best friend in May and gained a 4 year old step son (who is my pride & JOY!!) Last month my husbands grandma passed away. We had her viewing on a Tuesday and buried her on Wednesday. Thursday my husband was admitted to the hospital where he stayed until the next Friday! Last year he had a major abdominal surgery due to severe acid reflux. When he went in this time he couldnāt walk. To see the person who is your rock, double over in pain, crying because the pain is so real is HARD. It is emotionally draining and I wouldnāt wish this for anyone. For days the doctors could not figure out what the issue was so I just had to stand on the sidelines and talk him through the pain. Finally they discovered his gallbladder was wrapped around his intestines! They were able to do surgery to remove it and he is healing!! Three weeks later Iām officially his chauffeur (even though he hates my driving ?) because he hasnāt been cleared to work or drive. Not many people know, but we have been trying to convince and have not had any luck. That is the biggest struggle Iāve ever been though emotionally. To feel like your not worthy, something is wrong, or just NOT able is totally defeating. We have faith that everything is going to work out as it should and God has a plan for us. I tend to keep my needs on the back burner since Iām taking care of my step baby and husband. I feel this would help me feel more feminine and beautiful in a time where that doesnāt feel like the case. It would be SO appreciated and RIGHT on time! I know so many women also go through a lot and some have it way worse and are also so deserving. I would be truly grateful to be selected for some much needed pampering! Thank you! ???
You go girl!!! You do deserve it and I’m glad you nominated yourself!!! Thank you for following along and supporting this blog. Best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
Ok this is the most selfish thing I have done. As a newly divorced mom of three, (yes RC not many people know) with two of them under 3, I need a refresh and help finding me again! To say Iāve let myself or my hair go is an understatement. Itās been months (like 6+) since Iāve gotten my hair cut, let alone styled into something manageable, easy and above else fun! I would love the opportunity to get my hair done and enjoy pampering and getting out of the house with clean clothes, adult conversation and around others! Divorce isnāt easy by any means! After nearly 10 years with someone itās time for a refresh! Thanks to Randa for always being a role model for the young girls and for still inspiring those aged to perfection that you can always reach your dreams, be your own boss and OWN it!
Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that girly. Yes, you do deserve to refresh and feel good about yourself through this time! Thank you so much for following along and for entering this giveaway. Stay strong through this time and best of luck as the winner will be named shortly!
I would love the opportunity to have my hair transformed by such a great stylist (I totally stalked and looked at her work, plus just look at Randaās perfect blonde). I actually have always been curious as to who was able to get Randaās hair that pretty, light, non-brassy blonde while keeping it healthy, so Iām excited that I know now and have the chance to win her services! My problem having fine, thinner ash blonde natural hair has always been that no one Iāve ever went to has been able to get my hair down to that light color while also keeping it healthy so it can thicken up and GROW. Nowā I have been going to the same stylist for almost 6 years (so Iāve been super loyal), but she and I have just been making my hair a golden color, which Iāve been okay with settling for until recently. I love her but driving 3 hours to my hometown to get my hair done is very time consuming, which Iām sure she understands, so Iāve been on the search for someone here in BCS to try. I havenāt gotten around to scheduling an appointment yet because I havenāt found anyone I felt confident in and I am terrified of someone breaking my hair off! But since Erica is like a blonde specialist and cares about her clientsā hair health, I would be brave and even feel comfortable with her doing my hair. Itās an added bonus that sheās located in this town!!! š
Thanks so much for following along on my blog girly! I’m appreciative that you entered this giveaway and wish you best of luck with the winner being named soon!
Iļø am so thankful to enter this contest! Iļø nominate my precious daughter Olivia Plamer, she is a hard worker, going to school full time just a wonderful young lady who is in need of an up lift and nothing like hair to make a girl feel so prettyā¤ļø
Thank you so much for following along and for entering your sweet daughter! Best of luck with the giveaway!
I would love to nominate my mom Rebecca!
She is the most amazing woman, friend, and mother someone could ask for. She has raised me on her own since I was born. She did not get to live out her 20’s because she was so focused on taking care of me. She not only made a living for us but she never missed anything in my life. She would work all day, take me to practice, volunteer at the school, was apart of the pta. It is rare to have the bond that my mother and I share but I wouldn’t change it for the world! She is my absolute best friend. Now that I am 21 you would think most of her struggles would be over but that is far from the truth. This last year I became very ill under going 2 surgeries. She took me to every appointment and helped with my recovery. She has always been there for me. She recently found an amazing man that not only loves her but loves me! (I’m 21 and this is only the second guy she has every introduced me to lol). I think by giving her a new look her self esteem will rocket through the roof! When you look good you feel good and that is something she truly needs right now. If anyone deserves to win this it is her!
Thank y’all so much for the consideration!
How incredibly sweet to nominate your mom. She sounds like an incredible woman who you are so lucky to have! I appreciate you following along on my blog and best of luck with the contest!
First off, thanks for this opportunity! I am a student here at Texas A&M University and am the typical broke college student. I am a female, science major wanting to go to medical school – which means I am often judged by my appearance and gender. So, that means I have to work 100x harder to achieve my goals and aspirations – but I love that. There have been (more than a couple) times that I doubt myself and think I need to change my appearance (hair color, makeup, clothes. etc.) to achieve a certain “role” for what I think people expect from me, as a pre-med student. But I remind myself this is the way The Lord made me PURPOSEFULLY and I should be bold, confident, and embrace myself and use my gifts to serve others through school and my future career. I love being blonde – it reminds me to work hard, don’t give up, and chase my dreams.
Thank you for following along on my blog! Thank you for entering and for your sweet words as a reminder that we all need to hear! Best of luck!
Hi! I am an Esthetics student at Ogle school in Dallas. I go to school 20 hours a week (the night program) and work as a waitress during the day to pay rent/school bills. I also have a 17 month old son and two rescue dogs (one is a handicapped puppy who is a lot of work). I have all this on my plate and I’m only 20 years old. I had my son when I was young, I’m busy all the time and never got the chance to be a young adult and have fun like all of my friends. I love my son and my pups with all my heart and I wouldn’t trade them for anything but sometimes it gets frustrating. Pretty much all my time/effort is spent assisting others and I never get time for myself. Most days I feel like I don’t even get a chance to breathe until I’m slap worn out and ready for bed! I haven’t had my hair done in a LONG time. I don’t have the money. So I would be the happiest girl in the world if I won this!! I never win anything so my hopes are not up too high, but it was worth a shot!
You are one hard worker girly and everything is always worth a shot! Thank you for entering and best of luck!!!
I never enter in contests because I āknowā I wonāt win but seeing your post and reading the blog, I felt as if it was a sign. Iāve had depression and anxiety for so long and just recently started getting help so something I always thought I could control, my hair, was how I wanted to express myself. I started with extensions my freshman year of high school and that ruined my hair (because I didnāt take care of either one!) and then I went through cycles of chopping it off and letting it grow. I have never gotten a true hair change such as keeping it healthy and beautiful because I have always had a hard time taking care of my mental and physical health, much less my hair health. It is only Monday and it feels like the worst week of my life, you know, one of those where everything goes wrong? So, honest-to-goodness I trimmed my own hair in the shower yesterday thinking it would feel and look better but it doesnāt. Today was so long and, like I mentioned, I saw this post as a sign; a sort of light at the end of the tunnel. If I could get my hair healthy, I think I could see myself as worthy. God put this post in my feed today for a reason. I hope I win, itās worth a shot. Thank you!!!
The only way to “know” that you won’t win is if you don’t enter. Proud of you for nominating yourself and loved reading your comment. Erica will be choosing the winners momentarily – best of luck!
Gorgeous photo Randa! What a fun blog! This would be an amazing opportunity to love on myself. Iām a full time PhD student who just started at A&M. I work in ag. communications and international agriculture. That means a lot of stress, self-doubt and a seriously lack of hair care. I have baby fine, natural blonde hair as well, and itās always scary going to a new stylist in a new area because Iām protective over my blonde locks. It looks like your friend would be the perfect person to trust with my hair! Iāve always been proud of being a blonde, but Iād love to get a chance to learn how to take better care of my hair. This would be a perfect boost to carry on towards my goals of being Dr. Roberts. Thank you for the opportunity!
Thank you Lacey!! So proud of you for entering yourself and for almost being Dr. Roberts!!! You go girl! Best of luck!
I donāt think that I deserve to win this, but I would love to win it for the following reason: I have upcoming professional photos with my boyfriend and since moving to college station 6 years ago I have never had a good experience with my hair. Iāve been to many salons in town and catwalk is probably one of the only salons in town that I havenāt been to. I so want a home salon here in BCS since I have made this my long term hometown.
I’m proud of you for still nominating yourself!!! Best of luck girly!
You are so sweet and selfless and I’m proud that you entered yourself!!! Thankful to have you along on my blogging journey!
I would love to win this giveaway because I have wanted a change in my virgin hair for the longest. I am a full time student and also, I work 60+ hours a week. All my money goes to paying my tuition and car note so I have no money left over to do anything for myself. I would love to be able to do something for myself for once. Thank you.
Thank you so much for entering!!! Best of luck!
Thank you so much for entering and for following along. You are beyond deserving and amazing!!!
This would be an amazing opportunity to give back to a woman who has done so much for others. Karla Noble has owned and operated Karlaās Kare in Bryan, TX for over 30 years. Her day care has helped mold the precious minds of hundreds of children. She is always going above and beyond for friends, loved ones and day care families. Karla recently lost her brother and father within the last 6 months and i know a treat like this would brighten her day! Please pick her (:
Thank you so much for being selfless and entering her! How absolutely sweet!!! Best of luck!
