Transitioning Your Summer Dresses into Fall

Hey y’all! I wanted to share a fun little how-to today on my blog. Going into Fall doesn’t mean you have to get an all new wardrobe, in fact I love finding ways to style new outfits utilizing past season pieces.

Before I go any further, this outfit featured is all from my boutique Southern Jewlz. And I’m featuring an SJ outfit today on the blog because tomorrow is our big Fall photo shoot. And there is a $500 giveaway from the entire styling, production and beauty crew that will be working to make the magic happen. You can read all about the giveaway on one of my previous posts here.

So this cute little dress is so comfortable and affordable that I hated to stop wearing it going into Fall. I love putting cute sweaters over a flowy little dress and pairing with boots. It’s honestly more comfortable to me than sometimes wearing skirts and I never have to worry about my tummy showing or something coming untucked.

So I’ll show you some photos of me wearing this dress with a pair of heels and then also taking and pairing it with this cute turtle neck that is a little more on the cropped side and over the knee boots. I prefer to pair a short flowy dress with a shorter sweater rather than a much longer sweater so that I can really get that skirt-look effect.

Each of the photos are linked and I will link again below at the bottom of the blog. The dress is only $30 and the sweater is $46 and they both ship for free! Photos by James Barrett Photography.

Girly Girl Dress from Southern Jewlz. I’m wearing a size small, but if you need more length I suggest ordering up.

Style Queen Turtleneck Sweater from Southern Jewlz. I’m wearing a small. Hits right at the waistline.

Hoping to meet some of y’all at the shoot tomorrow!
