Hey y’all! So this is mine and Grant’s first Halloween as Husband and Wife! We have been dressing up together for Halloween since we were first dating.

Since I had some potential Southern Jewlz gift cards up for grabs on social media, I wanted to announce just what we decided to be this year. Nobody guessed it right, so unfortunately there were no winners. However, there were some incredible guesses that we may have to use for next year. This year we chose none other than the Disney Classic of Beauty and the Beast. Ever since we saw it earlier this year in theaters, I knew that’s what I wanted us to be! Of course I wanted us to do a full choreographed ball dance, but Grant said he already did that for the wedding haha. Grant also said that he wanted us to switch and him be the Beauty and me be the Beast, so we will see if this ends up happening tonight!

These incredible photos were taken by our friends Tim and Glen with GT Studios in Downtown Navasota. I will be having a pop up shop there in a few weeks for their kick off celebration. They are so talented and made it look like we were for real in the movie.

I really wanted to be a blonde Bell, but my friend Emily made a great point that the Disney Princesses are known for their hair. So here I am as a brunette.

Tale as old as time, true as it can be. Barely even friends, then somebody bends unexpectedly. Just a little change, small to say the least. Both a little scared, neither one prepared. Beauty and the Beast.

We even got to be Cinderella and Prince Charming with this pink dress and Grant removing his mask and jacket. More beautiful images from GT Studios!

To take you on a quick little trip down memory lane, I dressed up as a unicorn for Halloween the year before Grant and I met.

Then in 2014, Grant and I had only been dating about a month when Halloween rolled around. I wanted us to dress up together so badly and Grant loved Halloween probably more than I did at the time. So we were Gladiator and a Warrior Princess.

2015 was a just a little over a month before we got engaged. We were Wonder Woman and Wolverine. Grant won 2nd place at a local costume contest behind Buddy the Elf.

Last year we were almost a year into our engagement and we dressed up as an 80s workout family, like Richard Simmons style haha.

I normally have a work costume as well as a Halloween evening costume. Last year, my work costume was this funny unicorn rider.

xo,
