Hey y’all! I am so excited about this blog post for two reasons. 1) Our Dining Room is finally complete and ready for the Holidays and 2) This is my first blog to launch on the newly updated RandaCarrabba.com site! I hope you like the fresh new look, and I encourage you to surf around a little bit because there are many updates you will find!

Speaking on behalf of the dining room, I wanted to stick with the Winter Wonderland type of a feeling to fit with the rest of the house, however this room I added in some more pink and rose gold. Altogether, there’s grays, silvers, ivories, blushes, whites and rose golds. I focused the tree to have a Unicorn and Love theme. Many of the ornaments were given to Grant and I by his Godmother Judy last Christmas. I also have Unicorn ornaments from friends as well as the actual unicorn horn from the carriage I rode up to our wedding ceremony on. (Find out the reason behind my Unicorn obsession here!) There’s sparkly Eiffel towers to represent our trip to Paris, and a pink glittery Las Vegas ornament that we purchased from the trip when we got engaged. The tree is a 7.5 foot heavily flocked artificial tree that is under $250 linked here.

When it came to the table scape, I wanted something that would compliment the style of the tree, but pieces that could also be used for other occasions rather than just Christmas. I feel besides the tree, snow flake napkin holders and the pink Nutcracker (that was a sweet gift from Cherry Ruffino), everything in the dining room can basically be left year round. I found the majority of these pieces at Pier 1 Imports.

Grant and I are so excited to host our Family for the Christmas. We received our dining room table in just before Thanksgiving, but we hadn’t yet finished the chair selection until recently. This will be our first Holiday in our new home to have our dining room all put together!

My hair and makeup in this post was done by Versy Picone of Vixen Salon here in College Station, TX. My turtle neck cape sweater dress (under $40) is from Forever 21 and is also linked below with some more similar styles. These pink sequin booties (also under $40) were the perfect touch to match the room’s ambiance. They are also from Forever 21 which is currently offering $25 off a purchase of $100!

These photos were a collaboration taken by both Grant and I. Maybe next year I will be able to share some recipes before the Holidays, but this year I am just so excited to have my dining room decorated as well as a fun bar cart (blog post coming very soon) to help me to host. I hope you enjoy taking a tour through the glamorous and sparkly magic that I’ve created in this space. Thank God my husband loves and encourages me to design our home!
