Hey y’all! I hope everyone had a good weekend. Today I had a serious case of the Mondays, and I usually don’t. So I’m gonna try and get some good rest tonight and try out some lavendar oil so that I can be good and rejuvenated for tomorrow and the rest of the work week. Since I’m still new to this blog life, I wanted to post a short, sweet and fun post. So here’s 10 random facts about Grant, Bucky and I! Our wedding photographers (Luke and Cat) have 2 bulldogs, so they were super cheery to let us add our little fur baby in our pictures! I mean, how handsome is he below!?

1. If we all got to pick what was worth breaking our diet over – the answer would easily be ice cream. For all of us – Bucky included! I let him lick the empty ice cream tubs when we finish one and it’s like he hit the jackpot!

2. We love to go on neighborhood walks, but Bucky can really only go about a mile these days. He’s 10 and a half and that’s really old in bulldog years!

3. If we were to rank from top to bottom in terms of the best cuddlers/those that like cuddling the most it would go 1. Randa 2. Bucky and 3. Grant.

4. Grant already had Bucky’s tuxedo before I ever even met them. So that was an expense we did not have to undergo for the wedding haha.

5. We love to make up songs to sing as a family. Grant’s song writing goes something like “He is a guy, he is my friend, I love him so much, hey hey hey hey!” One of my song writing master pieces would be “Oh Bucky Boo, Oh Bucky Boo, Oh Bucky Bulldog We Love You”

6. Grant and I both like to eat very clean and we both LOVE veggies. Bucky not so much. He prefers bacon.

7. Bucky wears a GPS tracker on him because in his younger years he loved to run and escape on adventures. So anytime I take Bucky for a walk (outside of his normal zone) I can bet to get a text from Grant just to verify that I have Bucky. Grant has to know if he is safe!

8. Bucky was Grant’s first actually! But there are sooooo many people that ask me “So does Bucky like Grant a lot?” meaning they thought he was my dog first. I didn’t meet Bucky until he was almost 8 years old.

9. Since I haven’t known Bucky that long, Grant always told me I could only get up to 20% ownership of him because that’s only fair. But at our rehearsal dinner, Grant got up to announce that he had thought long and hard on my wedding gift and that he decided to split 50/50 posession of Bucky with me. It was the sweetest and meant so much to me!

10. Bucky has the worst smelling toots of the whole family. Sometimes when we have company over, he can do his best to kick them out if you know what I’m saying.

So I hope y’all enjoyed learning a little bit more about our little family. I love being a bulldog mom and I also really love being a wife. Downtime with Grant and Bucky is what I look forward to most in life! Whatever it is that makes you the happiest – try to unplug and soak up a little more of that kind of time. It’s good for the soul 🙂

xo,

PS – I have so much more wedding content I need to blog, so stay tuned!
