Happy Monday everybody!  I woke up feeling a little under the weather, but somehow still managed to get my morning workout in, almost a full day of wok and then this blog post together for y’all.  I sure hope I get to feeling better soon, but I am so excited to get to share some exciting news about my fitness journey!

I am teaming up with my fitness coach to be an ambassador for her program!  If you’ve been an active follower, you’ll know that I joined my first fitness challenge at the beginning of the year and have been seeing such incredible results thanks to her help!  I feel my body had plateaud, but now I am ready to keep moving forward on my fitness journey.  I won’t be getting paid based on people I sign up to join, so don’t worry about me hassling any of you haha.  I will just continue to keep doing what I’m doing while trying to help her grow her business through sharing my results and being transparent with my journey. I know some of you guessed that I would become a personal trainer or have my own program, but that isn’t my passion.  I love working out, but I feel I got my best results when someone else was helping to guide me.  So I would rather recommend others to work with the one who helped me!  I do feel I can encourage and motivate and show my own success to help others, but she knows way more than me, has helped others reach their goals and she’s a BSN/RN which gives her way more credibility than me when it comes to the diet aspect.  She can do more targeted nutrition strategies for clients who need extra help, or for instance she altered mine the 10 days before my fitness shoot to have optimum results.

I’m halfway through my 3rd 6 week program with her and will keep following her program guidelines on the regular.  We carb cycle, intermitten fast and have a targeted workout 5 days a week. Don’t worry, I’m not going to become a body builder or anything.  I’m just gonna keep working hard to maintain the body I’ve worked so hard to get, while hoping to keep defining my prized abs! (Y’all know I’m obsessed with having a 6 pack to show when I wear a swimmy suit and they are hard to keep toned)

I believe that helping promote her program through my lifestyle will help and encourage others to either start, continue or finish a previous fitness journey of their own.  Building my own space in this influencer world, I do want to encourage people to be happier, healthier, more confident, and just a better version of themselves.  This collaboration will help keep me accountable in maintaining my own journey, because I take it very seriously to lead by example.  Y’all know I preach about being honest, so I want my actions to to speak louder than my words.   This program won’t be the right fit for everyone beause it does still require discipline and hard work on your park, but this is what has elevated my fitness journey since the beginning of 2018.  There have been lots of repeat members who joined earlier programs based on my recommendation, and after someone completes their first round they receive veteran discounts and can receive money back based upon their own friend referrals.

The next 6 week program (she has other programs, but this is the one I have experience with) will start May 21 with prep week starting on May 14.  I highly recommend signing up sooner than later to ensure you get a spot because this last round filled up before the program’s start date and it was on the verge of being too big, so she will be putting a cap on the number of new clients for each round so that everyone continues to get enough attention.  I also encourage you take prep week very serious, that way you have a full week to take start to learn how the program works because it can seem like an overload at first.  Don’t be intimidated since I started out in fairly good shape because there is a home option and beginner option too!  There have been women who have joined this program to START their journey and they are staying to repeat following rounds!

You’ll notice I’m still not sharing my professional fitness photo shoot pics I took a few weeks ago, and that’s because we are trying to get the photos and my story published in Women’s Health Magazine.  It’s a far stretch and may not happen, but it’s more likely if the photos are not yet all over social media.  I have seen a few of the images GT Stidios took and they are incredible! Versy Picone had my hair and makeup on point, and she came on sight to help pose me!!! I really would love to do more fitness shoots, because I am feeling fabulous and confident to take on the camera these days!  For those of you who were guessing or requesting that I would have my hand in on a fitness line, you may get your wish granted one of these days!
