I know it’s just days before Christmas, but NYE is right around the corner. If you’re not yet 100% sure on what to wear for NYE and want to purchase online to avoid the crowds and be able to spend more time with your family (like I’m focusing on this year!), then I wanted to share some of my current favorites.
I have typically always worn black for NYE, but this year I think I’m going to switch it up a little. Grant and I will be attending a King and Queen Ball, so I want to do red like the Queen of Hearts would! I shared lots of black options, but also some red as well as some beautiful neutrals. There’s nothing wrong with being an ice princess for NYE. You get to make up your own rules, so just own whatever you decide on with confidence and you’ll be set!
I chose this selection from Forever 21 (they have lots of great web exclusives), Dillard’s, Revolve and Nasty Gal (don’t let the name scare you away because the entire site is almost 70% off!). I sorted them by price points below for y’all, too! Under $50, $100, $200 and then splurge worthy.
The dress I’m wearing here is super fabulous with the sequin and tassel detail. I love the midi length because I don’t have to worry about the dress riding up as I’m dancing on the dance floor. If I don’t do red, then this little number will be my actual NYE outfit. Either way, this dress was too fun for me not to add to my little black dress selection. It’s under $60 from Forever 21.
Hair and makeup for this look was done by Versy Picone of Vixen Salon here in College Station. My red lip kit is from Millionheir Cosmetics, which is actually owned by the sister of my friend who owns Reign Lashes. Y’all know I have been wearing these lashes since after I got married! Beautiful photos and art created by the talented Tim and Glen of GT Studios in Navasota who braved the humid weather with me. They made these photos so fabulous even when we thought we would have to reschedule due to weather.
