I have a very big announcement to make.  I have decided to leave my current fitness program.  I started living this lifestyle on January 8, 2018 after almost 4 years of my very own fitness journey without a coach or accountability group.  My reason for leaving has nothing to do with the actual program as far as the nutritional strategy, the workouts or the community that has been built between all of the members.  If followed appropriately with discipline, the program proves very beneficial results and it is a sustainable lifestyle.  To be honest, I never imagined when I joined an online fitness challenge that it would lead me to where I am today.

Health and fitness is a part of my every day life.  Ever since Grant and I got engaged and I decided to start posting about #SweatingForTheWedding, I have truly reaped so many benefits from changing my lifestyle for the better.  After we got married in February 2017, I decided to keep going as #GrantsHotWifey4Lifey because I honestly didn’t want to just give up on all the time and hard work it had taken me to get to the progressive place I was at.  In January, I wanted to have abs for our one year anniversary trip to Cabo.  Lindsay was someone I had followed for a little bit on instagram, her toned stomach detail caught my eye, I joined her program, started sharing about it, and the program honestly began to boom.  It began to grow wit so many members from my community that Lindsay asked me to become the ambassador for the company.  I loved sharing my journey, knew I was completely dedicated (I have not missed a single workout since joining), and loved inspiring others to start living more active and healthier lives.  I was so excited for this opportunity and I will stay forever grateful that I was a part of it.

I took my role very seriously and truly decided to lead by example, which can be proven by the continuous results and transformation my mind and body continues to make.  Igniting and helping motivate others is a big part as to why I love influencing, especially in the wellness sector!  Fitness is the first part of my day as I almost always start with a workout (except Sunday) and I am continuing to fuel my body better than ever before nutritionally.  I’m actually up to eating 2100 calories a day and over 200 grams of carbs on strength days.  The knowledge I learned from the program really embraced me to consume the carbs my body needed and served as a pivotal point in my fitness journey.

I will not say one bad thing about Lindsay or the program.  The many of you who personally know me or have followed my journey for quite some time will know that I pride myself on my character.  I believe in transparency with my community, keeping the karma circle positive, and always handling every bump in the road with class.  I had no intention of leaving this program until the past few days.  I am a firm believer in signs. I always pray for God to lead the way, I listen to every single member of my community, and I meditate to dig down deep into my own gut feelings.

I am expecting to launch my clothing line on Monday October 8.  So announcing 7 days before that launch that I am leaving the fitness ambassador role I have is not ideal, but I know I am making the right choice for my community as well as my own future.  I just posted last week about stepping outside of one’s comfort zone.  Even though that post had absolutely nothing to do with this decision, I can’t help but reflect back on it.  I have to listen to my own words and advice.  I always want to practice what I preach with matching actions, just as I have done with this program the past 10 months.

So much of my community has been with me almost 10 years, since I started stringing beads on my kitchen table in college.  Every morning after I wake up and do things such as brushing my teeth and kissing my husband goodbye for work, I check in with my community.  I stay active with all of you almost every single day of my life, except for the rare unplug times I have to take for myself.  I am so grateful for a husband who is willing to share so much of me with so many others.  I read and answer every single message and request from every one of you – even if it takes me a few days or even weeks sometimes.  I am always listening, always trying to find a ways to improve and I’m constantly evolving.

As of right now I am not for certain on how I am going to lead my community in the health and fitness sector that they yearn for, but I will still find a way to do so.  If I had actually planned on leaving this program, then I would have a plan.  I do believe in focusing on making a positive impact and good things will prevail.  However, I will take some time to rest, research some other programs as well and even though I have never thought about my own fitness program, I will never say never.  I haven’t wanted my own fitness program because being in charge of someone’s health and wellness is a big task and it comes with a lot of questions. I don’t want to spread myself too thin or not be able to truly lead by example and help others get the results they are capable of.  God has tugged hard on me these past few days and I owe it to every one of you to be honest about my decision.  Honesty and integrity is the #1 priority of my life and career.  I will continue to share my daily pictures and videos of gym workouts and the foods I am eating with each of you.  I ask that you follow @randacarrabbafitness on instagram to keep up with me and obtain this type of content during a transitional time. Launching my clothing line (@randacarrabbathelabel) is a very high priority this next week, so I am asking for a little time and patience as well.

After 10 months, I will be taking a small break from fasting every single day and having to track all of my food and macros.  I do still highly encourage tracking food just to learn more about macro nutrients in general, but for now it will be a nice little break being able to use my own knowledge that has been obtained through the program.  I do love how educational this program was for me.

I will only be sharing true giveaways on my blog this point forward, not any that requires someone to spend money to do so.  The giveaway winner will still be named this week.

After listening to concerns and requests, here is what I will use as emphasis on my future fitness influencing career decisions:

A program that is built upon true impact with everyone in mind.

A program that has an easy learning curve with technology that is also easy to use.

A program that is affordable, especially for those who follow it long term.

A program that is not only results driven, but one who focuses on recovery, injury prevention, longevity, stretching, hydration and self care.

A program where anybody can join at anytime.  It seems that once someone makes up their mind to commit, then they are ready to begin immediately.

If anyone has any other requests, comments or concerns that I have missed, please feel free to share them with me.  I am so thankful for each of you for trusting my influence and continuing to follow along with my journey.  I promise not to let you down with whatever future decision I make.  I will forever be grateful for the knowledge I’ve learned from working with this program. I have enjoyed getting to meet and work with you many of you through this program!  I am so grateful for Lindsay, the company and all that I have grown from being a part of the community that was built.  Please keep her and the rest of the leaders in your prayers during this transitional time, because change can sometimes be hard to process.

I’m finding it harder to hit “publish” on this blog post compared to most that I make, so I ask that you keep me in your thoughts and prayers too.

“I declare that God has a great plan for my life.  I pray for direction to follow it, patience to wait on it, and knowledge to know when it comes.”

xo,

Randa
