Happy Wednesday Ladies! I’m excited for another fitness related blog post. I am in week 3 of my 4th round of my program. If you’ve been following my blog for a while, then you’ll know that 6 weeks ago I announced I am now the ambassador for the program. With there being so much talk about mental health lately and with the shock of Kate Spade’s suicide, I figured I would dedicate a post to how this fitness program has helped myself (and so many others) in getting stronger BOTH physically and mentally.
I believe one of the best parts about this program is the fact that is comes with an accountability group. Yes, the diet guidelines, workouts and the structure of the program truly works, but it’s having the group that holds each of us accountable that I think really makes the difference on some ladies putting in the work and dedication it takes to get results and change their lifestyle. Because let’s be honest, it is A LOT of work and old/bad habits can be HARD TO BREAK! Each round there is a winner named in each accountability group (we now have multiple groups) for being super encouraging and supportive of everyone else in their group. I have seen certain members go from being very doubtful and almost negative in the beginning to very upbeat, positive and slaying the game in just a few short weeks. It’s really nice to have a place where we can all be ourselves with no filters required, share our struggles, celebrate our victories (non scale victories, mindset victories, etc), hold each other accountable with the program and our own goals. I know it’s an uncomfortable topic to talk about, so I didn’t want to ask any of the girls in our group to share a few words with me about how and why they feel mentally stronger, but I keep seeing them post that they do! I can speak from personal experience that I feel happier, more confident, I’m sleeping better, putting less pressure on myself, sharing positivity with others in the group because I know so many have joined based upon my recommendation, taking the time to celebrate all my small victories, allowing myself more grace, being happy to just be present over perfect more often and I think all of these things combined is why I feel mentally stronger. That along with the fact that exercise causes endorphins and endorphins help to make you happy! Happy people become more content with where they are and what they have rather than comparing themselves to someone else or always looking for something else to make them happy. Self love is so important! You might as well grow to like and love yourself, because you’ve got forever to spend together! So many ladies (including myself) are feeling more confident and truly just better about themselves since starting this program. Yes, it does take work to keep continuing this program, but once I get to feeling good I do not want to quit or throw in the towel on all the previous work I have put forth. Rather, I want to keep working hard to keep getting stronger both physically and mentally. I am not measuring my current or future fitness success on the scale, but rather on how I feel. I will continue to do this program as a way of life. The results I have seen in myself and many others truly fulfills me so much!
Up until this point, we have had a weigh in at the beginning of the program. After talking with Lindsay today on the mental health topic, we are getting rid of that and focusing even more on non scale victories. Having to face the scale and give a weigh in when starting a new program can be viewed as detrimental to client’s mental health and the scale is not a true representation of our progress on the program. Actually after prep week Lindsay has encouraged us to NOT weigh ourselves, so we are getting rid of the weight in altogether and will movie forward with checking in only with measurements. This is a much more accurate representation of progress.
When I announced that I was the ambassador 6 weeks ago, we did our first ever giveaway. Our current giveaway winner (Amy Dieta) says she now weighs less than ever since her post college years (keep in mind she is now married with two beautiful children and she is on week 3 of her first ever round!), and I can see a new glow and spark about her each time she adds a photo! I am so proud of her and so many others that are working hard to better themselves and their health. The next program doesn’t start until July, but spots are filling up sooner and sooner as this program continues to grow. But get excited because it is time for another GIVEAWAY ($200 value)!!! The program is actually 7 weeks long if you include prep week! You’ll find the requirements to enter at the bottom of this blog post.
I am so excited to finally share some of my favorite fitness transformation photos that I took after 12 weeks of working out with my new coach. The photographers were Glen and Tim Vigus of GT Studios and my hair and makeup was done by Versy Picone of Vixen Salon. I am not showing these photos to make anybody feel less about their body, but rather to show the hard work and persistence that I put into mine over the past 4+ years, specifically the past 5 months. Your body is NOT Amazon Prime, so it will not show up in 2 days. You can read older blog posts from previous in my journey when I obtained all of my results on my own here: Ways to Avoid Holiday Weight Gain, My Fitness Journey Update Over a Year Ago, Healthy Go-To Snacks, Diet Overview from a Year Ago. Newer blog posts since I’ve been working with them can be found here: Water Weight & Retention, My Healthy Grocery List, and Top Reasons Why I Love This Program.
This shoot was a dream come true. I love promoting strong and healthy, both physically and mentally, to my followers. I believe a strong and healthy base is important to build upon. Life is complex and aging is real, so I want to do all that I can to take care of my body and preserve it for many years to come. Cheers to my first ever fitness shoot! In Elle Woods voice, “We Did It!” because I really do feel having each of you to hold me accountable and to help cheer me along helped me to reach these results!
Yes, these images are edited, have been enhanced and we used some of the shadows to our effect in the gym photos as we tried to get them published in a health and fitness magazine, but were not successful. I’m not going to think it couldn’t still happen, but I didn’t want to hold out from sharing them with y’all any longer.
“She believed she could, so she did!” You can do it, too!
Here were pics of me the day I started the program
In case you didn’t see my youtube video yesterday featuring my favorite strawberry protein pancakes and me filming mostly in no makeup, I’m adding it below. I have been listening to everyone crave more no makeup and messy hair real life from me, so here it is:

I have been following intermittent fasting paired w great workouts loosely for about 6 mos. I love learning about nutrition and trying so many different kinds of foods. I have been following Lindsay for a while now and I absolutely love her posts, but mostly I love her story’s !!! I pocket her meal prep ideas all the time and know that I would be an eager learner under her guidance. This is my first time reading your blog, Randa, but I plan on diving into some more of this blog later. Thanks for checking me out ! I can’t wait to see the winner and continue to follow both your stories. Also, I’m moving to Texas with husband in a few wks so I feel even more connected to you two ????!
I would LOVE to win this, as a mom who has always put her children first im hesitant to sign up only because the “mom” in me kicks in–is this what I should be spending $ on, we have a daughter starting college in the fall etc–BUT I think it’s time to put myself first & become a healthier version of me FOR them! I also want to show my girls by example how it’s NEVER too late to start setting goals & reaching for them. I want to get in shape but it’s so much more that that to me. I want to be a healthier version of myself so I can give more to my hubby, kids & those around me. I need a boost of motivation to get back at it as I did great for a year, lost 30lbs and have maintained that but have been STUCK. I don’t want a diet I want to find a lifestyle for me, my girls & our family. So I’ve registered & would LOVE to win this chance to workout alongside some incredible inspirational women like yourself, along with Libby & Lindsay ???????????????????? I have followed your journey for over 10years I’ve loved following along & watching you help empower so many young girls like my daughter, and even many of us “moms” too ????
I want to win this giveaway SO BAD!!! I’ve followed you and Lindsay for the past 2/3 months and have wanted to try this program!!! From pictures and just what I’ve read, I am where you are when you started your fitness journey 5 years ago and I’m just ready to do this thing already! I’m at the heaviest I’ve ever been and I’m ready to get in good shape. The past two months have been me trying to get a workout routine and diet on my own and my results are slow to none so I’d loooooove the opportunity to try Fast Track to Fit!
I would love to win this giveaway! I have a passion for working out and fitness, but life has just won lately and I need a jumpstart to get back to where I want to be! I am starting a new job, moved to a new job, and it is perfect timing to start something new, a healthy lifestyle, with a great group of supportive ladies(and guys if they want) haha!
I would like to get healthier. I’m a horrible eater & don’t know how to eat healthy or how to go from high carb to low carb. Getting in better shape is always a plus. Be healthy & Fit is the goal
I would LOVE to win this because for SO long I’ve been so worried about taking care of everyone else that I’ve neglected myself and I’ve recently started working out and taking care of myself and think this would be so helpful! I’ve loved watching your progress and could only hope to have the same!
I recently got married and have been following you for a long time, way before your wedding! I love how true you are to yourself and best of all your hashtag, #grantshotwifey4lifey (i think I did that correct) and that’s my inspiration! Not just for me but for my husband! We both have a bet going before our big trip and I am determined to get back to where I was when I met him! I know I have it in me and will do everything to accomplish it! I’m been wanting to do this since you started and I think I can’t wait any longer! I need to do this now!
I’ve been trying to stick with a work out plan and healthy-ish eating for the past couple of months now and I can honestly tell a difference; but, with just recently starting up nursing school to get my RN, trying to find time to plan a work out and meal will probably get a little trying among all the studying and paperwork ????. I have a new found interest in working out and trying to become the healthiest version of myself that I’d hate to lose the work I’ve put in already. So being given the opportunity to win this workout plan would be amazing and one less task off my plate for the very busy months to come! ????????thank you for letting us join in on this journey ????
Randa!!!! You have been such an inspiration to watch and I love your positive attitude and the goals you have accomplished. I have been in and out tof the gym for years and in every far diet you could think of. My husband and I want to start a family and I want to really find something to stick with that can provide me with the healthy mind and body so I can take care of my husband and hopefully future children! I’m a NICU nurse and I want to follow this passion for as long as I can and I know that’s only possible if I take care of my body now. Thanks for this amazing opportunity!!:)
I would really like to win this giveaway. I have been in PT school the past 2 years and have put on weight that I never had before and now I’m having trouble getting off. I never really had to workout before so it’s hard for me to stay motivated and I don’t know how to count macros. I would like this experience to get me started towards a healthier lifestyle!
I would absolutely love to win this giveaway! I have admired you and the progress you have made over the past months! I would love to see myself do the same thing! I used to workout consistently and eat healthy, but I fell off track the past year. I didn’t work out for almost a year straight! I have never ever been that way and it took a toll on me both mentally and physically. I recently started working out again and trying to eat healthy to get ready for fast track to fit July 9th! I’m so excited and ready for this journey!
I would love to win the give away! I have been actually thinking of joining the July group. I have been re-reading information on your site as well as Fast Track to fit. After having two girls in a short amount of time (16 months apart) I have yet to find time for me. I have lost the baby weight but want to be the best mother to my girls and wife to my husband. I think this opportunity would give me the support I need to get off to a great start! Pick me! ????
Hey girl! I have been a long time follower since I met you in 2012! Your attitude & positivity is contagious & my fave parts of your social media life are your real real posts! So many bloggers like to give us “unfiltered” photos that are truly just less filtered. You da real deal HUNTY! I want to win this give away, because I have struggled with my weight & body image my whole life. I have recently gotten done with a boot camp at my local gym but feel lost since it has finished. I need guidance & education when it comes to fitness & food, I am so ready to continue to make a change! ❤️❤️❤️
I would love to win this give away, as I have struggled with obesity majority of my life. It was an illness for me. Many struggles and mental depression that came along with it. Two years ago, I prayed one morning that I need to over come and not let obesity take over my life. There was so many depressing things that happened along the way, I was never able to walk into a boutique and wear the cute clothes that skinny girls would be able too, dating for me was non exsistent. My health was slipping very quickly with high blood pressure and diabeties, I was told I would never be able to have children. So that morning two years ago I prayed for some change and commitment to have a better way of living and for me to take control of this obesity. And as of today I have lost a total of 187 lbs. went from a size 26 in women’s to a size 4!!! (48 in waist to a 25!!!) every day is a challenge, every day is a struggle of making right decisions! I BELEIVED I COULD, and I DID!!
INCREDIBLE TRANSFORMATION!!!!!!!!
You are the real inspiration we should all be looking to! I am so proud of you!!!!
I’m in my 1st round of fttf now and I’m obsessed! It’s only week 3 and I’m already seeing changes in my body that I havent seen in 3 years since my first son was born. You have been such an inspiration and an awesome cheerleader for all the ladies in the group. I would LOVE to win a free round (although I’ll be doing another round either way! ????)!
Hi randa! I’m so excited to learn that you can qualify for this program no matter where you are! I just came home from being overseas and it’s been such a huge change! I would like to start with a little background on my life and what I do. There have been so many blessings in my life this last year, buying my first home, making rank promotion, and then recently even being promoted to a position above what my rank is. I love my job here in FL working at the headquarters of Air Force Special Operations Command or AFSOC. Being such a high visibility Air Force Base we all work very hard. We ensure the people here and the people passing through for training have what they need from
beginning to end. AFSOC HQ hosts combat training schools. Most people know these men as the ones who jump out of Air planes, that they do. This is by far the busiest most rewarding place i have ever been in my career so far going on 7 years. The hardest part of being Active Duty is moving your entire life. Not only is it challenging mentally but physically it’s difficult to eat right and work out while traveling. There have been times when I was traveling either by air or car for over 36 hours at a time and most of those times have been with my daughter and my two pups! In the last year i went from being a personal trainer ( i worked at a gym) where i got to be the person motivating others to be their best self to barely having time and motivation to even get to the gym at the end of my day. I use to get paid to workout and i loved the way i looked and felt and made others feel. Now that i am finally settled into my home I’d love nothing more than some motivation from such an amazing cyber community like i see with fast track to fit. I bought a membership to a gym near my house but being new i don’t have the community I’ve had in the past or the friends who will drag me out of the house to go get a lift in. I’m at a place where i need to learn that i am in control of my fitness and it’s ultimately up to me to motivate myself. I think this program would be the perfect support and the motivation i need to get back to feeling more like myself. 8 months has taken its toll on my body but i know it’s not irreversible. I’m so excited to learn from this program and challenge myself in new ways!
I would be honnored to win a round of FTTF! I have been watching your journey for a long time and I’m honestly upset with myself for not starting this sooner. I’ve struggled with weight loss from a young age. I was able to slim down in high school, but I plumped up again in college and the stress of nursing school and working two jobs really added on the the fluff. I won’t admit how much I’ve spent on programs and gym memberships, but I’ve always bouned back and forth between programs, and I’ve always had issues with consistency. I get married in less than three months to my unicorn and I have more motivation now than ever before. I have been consistently working out and eating right since January, however, I think the guidance and accountability group provided with the FTTF program will give me that extra boost to see the results I’ve been working so hard for. I actually purchased the 4 week fast track to fit AND the 6 week faster track to fit programs on the same day so that I wouldn’t be spinning my wheels waiting for the next program to open up. I start week 3 of 4 tomorrow and I love it. I purchased the program before ever knowing there was a giveaway involved because I believe in the science behind it and I am truly inspired by your journey and openness. When I see your empty gym Saturday morning posts, I change my plans from brunch to gym because I know it’s the consistency that’s key. I love my body and I know my fiancé thinks I beautiful, but I really want to WOW him on our big day and honeymoon and be confident in the fact that I did EVERYTHING I could to look and feel as amazing as possible. I shy away from pictures right now and I don’t want that to be the case in St. Lucia. Thank you so much for this opportunity, but more importantly, thank you for giving me the inspiration and relatability to make my body goals come true.
I’m joining! Excited to jumpstart not only my physical health but my mental health as well. I want to be the best me I can be and the best role model for your biggest 6 year old fan!
I want to look my best for my unicorn husband #HotWifeyForLifey and I am just not there right now! I used to be a college athlete so I know how to work hard and eat right, but just haven’t done it yet, and would love the opportunity to try Fast Track to Fit to understand more about my body and fitness in general, and also to be a part of a girl’s accountability group!! I love you, Randa and Lindsay! I have followed you both for a while now and always tune into lives and you are my 2 top instagram accounts to follow! And I am also a Texas girl in East Dallas! I hope I get the chance to win this program! Literally counting down the days until this giveaway ends I am so excited!
Truly Excited to take the leap and join all the other amazing people on this journey to healthy living! ????????????????
I have Never done anything like this and can’t wait!! ????????????
Yippeeeeee can’t wait to have you in our group and to see your evolution!
I would absolutely love this to win this giveaway! I am currently enrolled in the Fast Track 2 Fit program and absolutely loving it. I feel that I am finally getting into routine of working out and eating right and would like to continue on to see what results I can get. I can only say great things about the program!! Before now, I have always walked into the gym intimidated and lost. I know look around and see those people that are aimlessly wondering and haphazardly doing workouts and I am so glad that is no longer me. I know have purpose and even better seeing results!
I would feel so blessed to win the giveaway! I’ve been following both you and Lindsay, and am so inspired. I think this program is exactly what I need to really take my health and fitness to the next level. Right now I feel like I’m a plateau of not knowing what to do next on my own.
Financially this would also be a huge blessing as my husband and I are moving across the country. After 5 years in the army and moving out of state, we are ready to be home in Texas. We have been saving but there’s always some uncertainty when starting a new career path.
With that being said, I’m thrilled to began my career as a coach and educator. I want really push myself before the new school year and be the BEST example I can be for the young female athletes I’ll be coaching. I hope I can inspire them like you both have inspired me. ❤️
Thank you for the opportunity!
I would love to win the program!! I would love the motivation, support, and most of all the accountability that come with fast track to fit.
Over the past couple of years, I have put myself on the back burner, negleting my health and fitness. When my husband and I started dating something had to give because I was streched for time as it was. I was working full time, going to graduate school full time, and at the time, working out 6 days a week. I was in the best shape of my life but I knew he was something special from the first date. 😉 So working out was what had to go… Currently I have been going to the gym about 3 days a week and doing the classes that they offer. I am not seeing the progress that I was hoping for and I am ready for a BIG change.
I am hoping for more. I am hoping for my lifting confidence back. I am hoping the accountability. I am hoping for a support system. And I am hoping for the confidence that I have been lacking.
I am looking for a little helping getting back to being the best version of myself!
Thanks for considering me.
I have been following you and Southern Jewlz for a few years now and you are a huge inspiration. What you have been able to accomplish on the Fast Track to Fit program is AMAZING!!! I have tried other programs in the past, but haven’t been able to stick to them. I think being apart of an amazing group of women working towards bettering themselves would inspire me to stay on track with my own journey. I’m an Ag Teacher at a small West Texas school and this program is perfect timing to get on track, create a good habits, and work on changing my lifestyle before school starts in August! Through this program I hope to gain my confidence back and not to steal your hashtag, but become my husband’s #HotWifey4Lifey! July can’t come fast enough!
I am looking for the place to get healthier. And I think I am on the right place. I love to do workout to be fit. Your have amazing and lovely outfits for workout. Your pancake recipe is good. I want to be healthy and fit.
